Picture of BobBob Silverstein (guitar, vocals): I grew up near Boston, and moved to Seattle in 1999. Back east, I played originals and covers in several bands during the 1990’s. Upon arriving in Seattle, I spent parts of two years working on songwriting with friends, before joining the eclectic pop/rock band 669, in 2003. With 669, I had the opportunity to play many shows, including several large outdoor festivals across the Pacific Northwest.

In early 2005, I participated in the formation of Wilgus, and this has definitely been the most satisfying project for me in a number of ways. I really enjoy the songwriting and arranging process with these guys. I am also excited to be playing music for which there is an audience eager to listen.

My musical influences include Aimee Mann, dada, Cowboy Mouth, Son Volt, Southern Culture on the Skids, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Juliana Hatfield, Kiss, The Muffs and The Beatles.
